Job summary

BuyBuildSell InfraTech, an early-stage AI-native startup in India, is hiring our founding AI engineer who will architect the AI at the platform's center. You will translate plain-language client requests into design options, specs and material requirements for professional-grade outputs.

You'll own the full stack from backend to frontend, work with architects and structural engineers, shape the roadmap, and have direct access to leadership in a highly autonomous environment.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. in CS, AI/ML or related.
• 2-5 years shipping production software.
• Hands-on LLM integration - prompt design, structured output, RAG fundamentals.
• Proven end-to-end ownership: backend, data, enough frontend/deploy to ship solo.
• Can explain, unprompted, why critical logic belongs outside an LLM call.

Responsibilities

• Build the AI reasoning layer - LLM-based intent parsing, option generation, retrieval-grounded suggestions
• Architect the deterministic engine - rules-based calculations for specs, quantities and cost, kept strictly separate from anything AI-generated
• Own the full stack - backend, APIs, data, frontend and infrastructure, end to end, with no platform team to hand off to
• Ground the system in reality - work with our architects and structural engineers to encode real construction rules
• Shape the roadmap - sit close to real usage and help decide what gets built next, not just how

We're an early-stage, self-funded startup building a unique AI-native platform for construction in India - design, manpower and material, brought together as one intelligent system. We're hiring the founding engineer who'll architect the AI at the center of it.

The Role:

This isn't a seat inside a large team executing a settled spec. As our founding AI engineer, you'll build the systems that take a client's plain-language request and turn it into real design options, specifications and material requirements - the kind of output a professional could actually stand behind, not just something that looks convincing. What you ship in your first few months becomes the foundation everything else is built on.

What You'll Do:
