AI Refined India Private Limited is seeking a Technical Architect with 10+ years of experience to own end-to-end system architecture for an AI-driven product. This hands-on architect will design, guide, and govern systems while contributing to code when required.

You will collaborate closely with the CEO and Delivery Head to translate the product vision into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.

Job Title: Systems Architect & Infrastructure R&D
Job Location: Pune, India

Role Overview

We are looking for a Technical Architect with 10+ years of experience who can own end-to-end system architecture for an AI-driven product.
This role requires a hands-on architect who can design, guide, and govern systems, while still being capable of contributing to code when required. You will work closely with the CEO and Delivery Head to translate product vision into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.

You Will Be Responsible For

• Architectural Ownership: Define and own the overall technical architecture of the funds infrastructure, ensuring alignment with systematic trading goals in collaboration with the CEO and Delivery Head.
• System Design & Impact: Translate complex requirements into scalable designs for "Bulk" simulation and "Real-time" execution layers, while conducting detailed technical analysis and impact assessments for all new features and system changes.
• Technical Leadership: Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams, acting as the key decision-maker for the Linux-based ecosystem.
• Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce coding standards and design principles, ensuring final sign-offs on all major architectural changes.
• Performance & Reliability: Own system scalability and reliability, proactively identifying bottlenecks in high-throughput data pipelines.
• Distributed Systems: Design and govern microservices and distributed system architectures, ensuring alignment between functional requirements and technical solutions
• AI & Data Engineering Architecture:
  • Designing Python-based services, data pipelines, and ML/AI workflows
  • Define patterns for "Bulk" data ingestion and real-time processing using Spark, HBase, and Hive.
  • Guide the implementation of LLM integrations and intelligent automation within R&D workflows.
• DevOps & Infrastructure Architecture:
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies using Jenkins and Airflow.
  • Define the Hybrid-Cloud Disaster Recovery strategy (Azure preferred), focusing on reusing Ansible scripts for rapid Cloud-based replication; with focus on high availability and cost optimization
  • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure automation and environment standardization
• Modernization & Future-Proofing:
  • Drive the adoption of modern technologies, tools, and industry best practices, specifically in AI, cloud, and scalable system design.
  • Continuously evaluate and introduce emerging technologies and architectural improvements to keep the platform future-ready.

Required Technical Skills

• Architecture & Design: Strong experience in software architecture and design patterns with a solid foundation in OOPS.
• Enterprise Development:
  • Java: Extensive hands-on experience in pure Java (multi-threading, real-time) and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, IOC, MVC, JDBC, JMS)
  • Python: Mastery of the Python stack for R&D, reporting (PDF/HTML, visualisation libraries), backend services and data systems
  • API-driven architectures and microservices design
• Big Data Technologies:
  • Expert knowledge of the Apache stack, specifically Spark, HDFS, Yarn, HBase, Hive, Airflow and ML libraries
  • Data pipelines, large-scale data processing, and analytics workflows
  • ML/AI system integration concepts and data-driven architectures
• DevOps & Automation:
  • CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git, JIRA)
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) specifically for Disaster Recovery.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Data & Database Systems:
  • Relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Query optimization and system performance tuning
• Operating Systems: Deep expertise in Linux-based infrastructure and cluster management.
