Job summary

Salad Days in Delhi NCR is seeking an Area Trainer to lead training and capability development across 13 stores. You will ensure effective induction, SOPs are understood, and staff are upskilled to reduce gaps and costs.

The role collaborates with city and store leadership to identify talent, improve training impact, and uphold food, hygiene and service standards. Travel across assigned locations is required while you leverage Excel-based reporting and training documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in food & beverage.
• Strong understanding of kitchen workflows, hygiene, SOPs and food quality control.
• QSR or cloud kitchen background preferred.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills for blue-collar teams.
• Willingness to travel extensively across locations.
• Proficiency in Excel and training documentation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured training across all assigned stores, including induction and refreshers.
• Drive training effectiveness by identifying skill gaps and coaching for improvement.
• Visit stores regularly to evaluate training implementation and support brand standards.
• Build a pipeline of high-potential team members and support their development.
• Ensure documentation through reporting, coverage tracking, training need analysis, and SOP adherence.

The Area Trainer is responsible for leading the training and capability development across a cluster of 13 stores. This role plays a critical part in ensuring new hires are inducted effectively, SOPs are understood and implemented uniformly, and existing staff are upskilled regularly to reduce operational gaps, complaints, and cost variances. The Area Trainer also works closely with city and store leadership to identify high-potential talent, improve training impact, and uphold the company s food, hygiene, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver structured training across all assigned stores, including induction and refreshers.
• Drive training effectiveness by identifying skill gaps, coaching for behavioral improvement, and reducing complaint and food cost variance.
• Conduct regular store visits to evaluate training implementation, reinforce brand standards, and offer on-ground support.
• Build a performance pipeline by tracking high-potential team members and supporting their development through feedback and targeted interventions.
• Ensure robust documentation through accurate reporting, coverage tracking, Training need analysis, and collaboration with Ops for SOP adherence and recurring issue resolution.

Requirements

• Strong operational understanding of kitchen workflows, hygiene, SOPs, and food quality control.
• Candidates with QSR or cloud kitchen background will be preferred.
