Job summary

Paytm Payments Services in Pune is seeking a Team Leader for the offline payments vertical. The role focuses on managing and acquiring new business accounts, driving sales growth, and building strong client relationships while delivering excellent customer service onsite.

Candidates should have 10 years of experience, excel at data tools, and be capable of leading large teams and coordinating merchant onboarding across offline solutions such as QR codes and POS devices.

Responsibilities

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Formulate and launch the counter strategy for local initiatives taken up by the competition.
• Ability to understand the data to gather the right information and plan the execution accordingly.
• Analyze the data and identifying the improvement areas, substantiate through market visits to identify the priority spots to perform in.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for his team both on & off roles.
• Should be able to device the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Must have Smart Phone.
• Personally manage key accounts when needed.

About the Team:

The O&G (Oil and Gas) Adjacent Team vertical is a focused offline payment solution team, we are predominantly dealing with Merchants onboarding and other Retail business with QR Codes, Sound Box and POS machines, handling end to end sales and operations in all offline products. Onboarding new merchants for offline solutions and servicing existing merchants.

About the role:

This is a full-time on-site role who will be responsible for managing and acquiring new business accounts, driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and providing excellent customer service. The Team Leader will also analyze market trends and develop sales strategies.

Preferred Domains – Fintech/Bank/Telco/Insurance

Experience – Min.

10 years (Good in Excel & data tools required in Sales & managing large set ups both teams & clients)
