Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions India Pvt Ltd, headquartered in Bengaluru, seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive retail business in Karnataka and build a strong distribution network. You will lead a team, engage channel partners and manage promotions across hardware and MTO segments in the region.

The role requires deep knowledge of hardware retail dynamics, strong communication, and a track record of meeting revenue targets. On-site work in Bengaluru with close coordination to Sales and local teams.

Qualifications

• MBA preferred; any graduate with hardware experience.
• 10-12 years total experience in Hardware Glass, Plywood & Laminates.
• Candidate from hardware industry shall be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Revenue objectives for Retail business in the territory.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding.
• Set up distribution and retail network for Hardware and MTO segment.
• Handhold and support channel partners to delivery desired numbers.
• Develop, train and manage a team of frontline sales.
• Build and manage the demand generation for all product categories.
• Formulating promotional activities as a part of brand building
• Building relationships with architects, builders, contractors, and end customers
• Provide product knowledge to all stakeholders of channel partners
• Maintain records and track Primary/secondary sales
• Keep close watch on competition activities, business and market share.
• Provide MIS to management for forecasts, budgeting and other market intelligence.

Position Summary

ASSA ABLOY is looking for Area Sales Manager based out of Bengaluru, responsible to generate business from the state of Karnataka. Other responsibilities as below.

• Deliver the Revenue objectives for Retail business as per plan from the territory.
