Job summary

Ganpati Dairy Products is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee sales and distribution in the Namkeen segment across the Meerut region. The role focuses on achieving targets, building distributor and retailer networks, expanding market coverage, and leading the sales team.

Responsibilities include managing stock, promotions, schemes, and trade offers while monitoring performance of Sales Officers and ISRs. A strong track record in FMCG sales is essential.

Qualifications

• 9-15 years in FMCG Sales & Distribution.
• Experience in Namkeen, Snacks, Bakery, or Food FMCG preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Distributor Management, Retailer Network, Secondary Sales & Market Expansion.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key customers.
• Appoint new distributors and expand the company's distribution network.
• Increase market penetration, outlet coverage, and secondary sales.
• Monitor distributor-wise and salesperson-wise performance.
• Manage and guide Sales Officers / Sales Representatives / ISRs.
• Conduct regular market visits to identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure proper implementation of company schemes, promotions, and trade offers.
• Monitor stock availability, order booking, dispatches, and outstanding payments.
