Job summary

TeamLease Digital Private Ltd. is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive sales in Jaipur and surrounding markets. You will lead a field team, coordinate with distributors, and ensure strong retail execution at points of sale through planograms and merchandising.

The role focuses on market development, tracking performance through MIS reporting, and staying ahead of competitors by analyzing data and expanding distribution.

Responsibilities

• Sales Target Achievement: Drive primary and secondary sales in the General Trade channel for the assigned territory.
• Distributor & Channel Management: Appoint, manage, and review distributors. Ensure distributor ROI and hygiene.
• Team Management: Lead and guide a team of Territory Sales Officers/Executives. Conduct regular team reviews, trainings, and field accompaniments.
• Market Development: Identify and develop new markets within Mumbai. Expand width and depth of distribution. Ensure numeric and weighted distribution growth.
• Retail Execution & Visibility: Drive execution at the point of sale through planogram adherence, POS material deployment, and effective merchandising.
• Data & MIS Reporting: Monitor sales performance through regular reporting. Use data to make informed decisions and improve outcomes.
• Competition Tracking: Track competitor activities in the market, share insights, and develop counter strategies.
