AKAS Infusions in Bengaluru is hiring an Area Sales Manager for the Karnataka region. You will drive sales of critical care medical equipment, including syringe and infusion pumps, blood warmers, and related devices, by building strong hospital relationships.

Ideal candidates have experience in medical equipment sales or healthcare institutions, with willingness to travel locally and promote products to doctors and ICU teams.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth of critical care equipment within the territory.
Promote syringe pumps, infusion pumps, and related devices to hospitals.
Build relationships with doctors, ICU teams, biomedical engineers, and purchase departments.
Regularly visit hospitals, medical colleges, nursing homes for business development.
Identify opportunities, generate leads, and close sales with quotations and orders.
Conduct product demonstrations and clinical presentations to healthcare professionals.
Coordinate with service teams for smooth installation and support.
Ensure timely payment collection and maintain customer relationships.
Maintain sales reports, visits, and pipeline updates.
Participate in exhibitions and promotions as required.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales growth of critical care medical equipment within the assigned territory
Promote Syringe Pumps, Infusion Pumps, Blood & Fluid Warmers, DVT Pumps and Mobifusions to hospitals and healthcare institutions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with doctors, ICU teams, biomedical engineers, purchase departments, and hospital management
Regularly visit hospitals, medical colleges, nursing homes, and healthcare facilities for business development
Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into successful sales
Conduct product demonstrations, clinical presentations, and equipment trials for healthcare professionals
Handle product enquiries, negotiations, quotations, and order closures effectively
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets assigned by the company
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements within the territory
Coordinate with service and technical support teams to ensure smooth installation and customer satisfaction
Ensure timely payment collection and maintain healthy customer relationships
Maintain accurate sales reports, customer visit records, and pipeline updates
Participate in medical exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and promotional activities as required
Maintain ethical sales practices and represent the company professionally at all times
