Job summary

Hire On is seeking an Area Sales Executive – Modern Trade & E-Commerce to drive growth across Mumbai (Thane) and Pune by enhancing distribution, visibility, and execution in both offline and online channels.

The ideal candidate will have 4–10 years of relevant FMCG sales experience, with hands-on exposure to Modern Trade or E-Commerce, and a postgraduate background. Willingness to travel within the territory is essential.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate in any discipline; MBA Sales/Marketing preferred.
• 4–10 years of relevant sales experience.
• Experience in FMCG/FMCD/Consumer Products preferred /Food.
• Hands-on experience in Modern Trade and/or E-Commerce.
• Strong knowledge of Mumbai/Thane & Pune markets preferred.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Manage Modern Trade & E-Commerce channels across Mumbai (Thane) and Pune.
• Drive primary & secondary sales and achieve business targets.
• Manage key accounts, distributors, retailers, wholesalers and stockists.
• Plan and execute promotions to improve sales and market share.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure product availability, visibility and excellent in-store/online execution.
• Build strong relationships with channel partners and customers.
• Coordinate with internal teams for customer complaints and operational issues.
• Handle sales execution for leading FMCG/consumer brands.
