Job summary

Muthoot Fincorp Ltd. is seeking an Area Recovery Manager for Secured & Unsecured Lending. The role reports to the Area Manager and focuses on reducing delinquency, early resolution, and close coordination with branches.

The candidate will lead a collections team, drive performance targets, and engage borrowers through calls and field activities. Willingness to travel is required as per company needs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in collection with 2 years of on‑roll team members.
• Knowledge of other products movement in the market.
• Ability to meet business targets under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as per company requirement.

Responsibilities

• Delinquency reduction and proactive collection actions.
• Earlier resolution with normalization of accounts.
• Monitor accounts on a daily basis.
• Connect with delinquent borrowers via calls and field collections.
• Responsible for team building and training collection staff.
• Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for smoother collections and outcomes.

Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

• Delinquency reduction.
• Earlier resolution with normalization.
• Monitor accounts on daily basis
• Connecting with delinquent borrowers via various methods ( including but not limited to phone calls & field collections)
• Responsible for team building and training collection staffs
• To Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for the smoother part of collection

Skills and Exposure

• A result-oriented individual with Positive Mental Attitude with Integrity, willing to put hard work.
• Proven ability to Handle difficult customer.
• Should have the knowledge of other products movement in the market.
• At least 3 years' experience in collection with 2 years of On roll team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure.
