Job summary

Wroots Global is seeking a results-driven Area Manager to oversee the performance of multiple high-volume sportswear stores in Delhi. You will drive sales, optimize KPI attainment, and lead store teams to deliver outstanding service and merchandising standards.

The role requires strong leadership, independent work, and the ability to translate market insights into store strategies. You will hire and develop staff, report on trends, manage budgets, and open new locations as per plan.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a similar role within a high-volume retail environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet key objectives.
• Passion for Sports and fitness and excellence.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Achieve business targets through focus on the Key Performance Indicators.
• Ensure outstanding store environment and visual merchandising standards via daily checklists.
• Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service.
• Develop business strategies to expand store traffic and enhance store business.
• Report on buying trends, customer requirements, feedback, and market developments & sales.
• Hire, train and develop store team to enable them to perform their daily duties.
• Conduct performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
• Store administration, ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Motivate the store via incentives, rewards & recognition etc.
• Control store expenses and inventory & cash shortages at the stores.
• Open new stores as per timelines and standards.
