Qualifications

• Graduate with experience in collections within NBFCs/banks/financial services.
• Strong understanding of secured lending (LAP, Home Loans).
• Experience handling delinquency buckets, NPA accounts, field collections, and legal recovery.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end collections for secured loan portfolios across the assigned area.
• Drive resolution of overdue, delinquent, and NPA accounts through field collections and customer engagement.
• Monitor collection efficiency, bucket-wise performance, roll-forward rates, and portfolio quality.
• Lead and manage collection teams, including collection managers, field executives, and agency partners.
• Ensure effective follow-up on delinquent accounts and develop recovery strategies for high-value cases.
• Coordinate with legal teams for repossession, legal notices, SARFAESI proceedings, and other recovery actions.
• Conduct regular field visits and review team productivity and collection performance.
• Manage external collection agencies and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare MIS reports, track collection targets, and implement corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, fair collection practices, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
• Relevant experience in collections within NBFCs, banks, or financial services, preferably in secured lending.
• Strong understanding of LAP, Home Loans, and secured loan recovery processes.
• Experience in handling delinquency buckets, NPA accounts, field collections, and legal recovery processes.
• Proven experience in team handling, portfolio management, and achieving collection targets.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
