Job summary

ArchPro in Ernakulam, Kerala, is seeking an Architectural Draftsman with 2–5 years of experience to join our project delivery team. ArchPro is looking for an Architectural Draftsman with 2–5 years of experience to join our project delivery team in Ernakulam.

We work on residential and interior projects across multiple cities and are looking for professionals who can produce accurate, coordinated, and buildable drawings while working closely with project architects, designers, consultants, vendors, and site teams.

Role Overview

As an Architectural Draftsman, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the technical drawings required to execute projects on site.

You will work closely with Project Architects and the central delivery team to translate design information into clear, accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready drawings, while incorporating site conditions, revisions, consultant inputs, and project requirements.

The role requires strong attention to detail, technical understanding, drawing discipline, and the ability to work in a live project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and interior drawings based on approved designs and project requirements.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, joinery drawings, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and other construction drawings.
• Convert design concepts and approved drawings into detailed drawings suitable for site execution.
• Incorporate design revisions, site measurements, consultant inputs, and project changes accurately.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, interior, and other consultant drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, levels, and buildability before issue.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and project documentation.
• Prepare and update drawings based on site requirements and execution feedback.
• Coordinate with Project Architects, designers, consultants, vendors, and site teams to resolve drawing and detailing issues.
• Identify drawing conflicts, missing information, and coordination issues before they create problems on site.
• Ensure the latest approved drawings are issued and maintained across projects.
• Support the Project Architects in maintaining consistent drawing and documentation standards across projects.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing.
• Good understanding of architectural and interior construction details.
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Good understanding of dimensions, levels, materials, joinery, and construction methods.
• Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy.
• Comfortable working with revisions and fast-moving project requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• SketchUp, Revit, or other BIM/digital tools are an advantage.
• Comfortable using AI and digital tools to improve drawing and documentation workflows.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to coordinate with project teams and support site requirements across different locations.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably across residential and interior projects.
• Experience working on live construction projects and producing drawings used for execution is strongly preferred.
