Job summary

Preethi Properties And Developers Ahmedabad Llp is seeking an experienced 2D Architectural Draftsman with at least 5 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience to join our design team in Coimbatore. You will translate architect concepts into precise 2D drawings and production-ready working drawings.

The ideal candidate will understand architectural plans, produce floor plans, elevations, sections, and site layouts, and coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural 2D drafting.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience in an architectural firm / architecture consultancy preferred.
• Ability to prepare: Floor plans, Elevations, Sections, Working drawings, Construction drawings, Detail drawings, Site layouts.
• Good knowledge of drawing standards, layers, dimensions and annotations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop floor plans, elevations and sections.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced 2D Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience, preferably within an architectural firm.

The candidate should be capable of preparing accurate and detailed architectural drawings, working drawings and construction drawings based on architects concepts and instructions.

The ideal candidate should understand architectural plans clearly and be able to independently convert design concepts into professional 2D drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop floor plans, elevations and sections.
• Prepare working drawings and construction drawings.
• Prepare door and window schedules.
• Prepare staircase, toilet and detailed architectural drawings.
• Prepare site plans and layout drawings.
• Make revisions and modifications based on architect/client feedback.
• Coordinate drawings with structural and MEP requirements.
• Maintain proper drawing layers, dimensions, annotations and standards.
• Ensure accuracy in measurements, dimensions and detailing.
• Prepare drawings for client presentations, approvals and site execution.
• Update drawings based on site changes and actual conditions.
• Maintain drawing revisions and proper file documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers and project teams.
• Support preparation of submission and approval drawings when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural 2D drafting.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Previous experience in an architectural firm / architecture consultancy is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings and construction details.
