Job summary

ProArch Design Build in Kerala invites an experienced Architect to join our hybrid, full-time team in Thiruvananthapuram. You will develop architectural concepts, prepare drawings and 3D models, and coordinate with clients, construction, and interiors to align with budgets and timelines.

You will work closely with design and execution teams, apply local codes, visit sites, review designs, and help improve internal processes with BIM/CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent; licensure/registration is an advantage.
• Experience in residential or design-build projects in India, especially Kerala.
• Strong skills in architecture design, including concept development, space planning, detailing, and knowledge of local building codes.
• Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and design-to-execution workflows.

Role Description

The Architect role at ProArch Design Build is a full-time, hybrid position based in Thiruvananthapuram, with flexibility for some work-from-home tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing architectural concepts, creating detailed drawings and 3D models, and coordinating design solutions that align with client requirements, budgets, and timelines. The Architect will collaborate closely with construction and interior design teams to ensure design intent is maintained during execution and that projects meet quality and regulatory standards. The role involves site visits, design reviews, and regular client interactions to refine proposals, address issues, and support smooth project delivery. The Architect will also contribute to continuous improvement of internal design processes and integration of tools and technologies that enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, detailing, and familiarity with local building codes.
• Experience in Project Management, such as coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing timelines and budgets, and overseeing design-to-execution workflows.
• Understanding of Integration between design, construction, and interior solutions, ensuring cohesive project outcomes and minimal gaps during implementation.
• Ability to collaborate with Software Development or technology teams to leverage design tools (e.g., BIM, CAD, visualization software) and integrated project platforms.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and strong visual, technical, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent professional qualification; licensure/registration is an advantage.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work in hybrid settings and engage confidently with clients, contractors, and partners.
• Prior experience in residential or design-build projects in India, especially Kerala, is highly beneficial.
