Hiring Point Solutions is seeking a Junior Architect with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our team in India. You will contribute to commercial interior projects from concept through detailed drawings and site execution, working closely with senior architects and project teams.

The role requires strong architectural fundamentals, proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and exposure to MEP coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience.

• Proficient in AutoCAD; SketchUp mandatory; Revit preferred.
• Experience in commercial interior projects.
• B.Arch or equivalent from a reputed institution.
• Exposure to coordination with MEP, electrical, HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design development and concept presentations.
• Prepare detailed architectural/interior drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Develop working and construction drawings for commercial interiors.
• Coordinate drawings with MEP, electrical, HVAC, and structures.
• Visit sites and support resolution of design and execution issues.
• Review drawings against design intent and update documents.
• Assist senior architects with material selections and coordination.
• Prepare BOQs and technical documentation.

Job description

We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Architect with minimum 2 years of professional experience .

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in architectural design, excellent technical drawing skills and a keen interest in commercial interior projects. The candidate will work closely with senior architects, designers and project teams on the development and execution of commercial interior projects from concept through detailed drawings and site execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Help in preparation of design concepts, Interior design presentation, Mood boards and material boards.
• Prepare detailed architectural and interior drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Develop working drawings, construction drawings and detailed layouts for commercial interior projects.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, furniture layouts and architectural details.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP, electrical, HVAC, fire-fighting and structural requirements.
• Develop 3D models and presentations using SketchUp.
• Prepare design presentations, mood boards and graphic layouts using Photoshop.
• Assist in preparation of BOQs, material specifications and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, contractors and site teams.
• Visit project sites regularly and assist in resolving design and execution-related issues.
• Review site execution against approved drawings and design intent.
• Incorporate revisions and maintain updated drawing/documentation sets.
• Assist senior architects in design development, material selection and project coordination.
• Ensure drawings and documentation are prepared accurately and within project timelines.

Mandatory Skills

The candidate must have good working knowledge of:

• AutoCAD - Mandatory
• Revit - Optional but preferred
• SketchUp - Mandatory

Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience in commercial interiors, corporate offices, hospitality, retail or large-scale interior projects will be strongly preferred.

Candidates should have exposure to:

• Commercial interior planning
• Furniture and joinery detailing
• Ceiling and flooring layouts
• Site coordination

Educational Qualification

B.Arch / equivalent architectural qualification from a reputed architecture institution in India.

Candidates from reputed architecture schools such as SPA Delhi, Sushant School of Art & Architecture, Chandigarh College of Architecture (CCA), MNIT Jaipur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, CEPT University Ahmedabad, and other leading architecture institutions will be preferred.
