Job summary

Skys Adobe Plus Bengaluru invites a Junior Architect Real Estate & Construction to join our team. You will assist in planning, design, and execution of farm land development and high-rise projects, analyze drawings, and prepare architectural plans.

We value experience in farm land development, residential/high-rise projects, and proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. Regular site visits and coordination with engineers and contractors are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of architectural planning, building design, construction drawings, and site execution.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other architectural design software.
• Understanding of building regulations, approval processes, and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and execution of farm land development projects and high-rise residential/commercial buildings.
• Analyze architectural drawings, designs, floor plans, elevations, and construction plans.
• Prepare and modify architectural drawings, working drawings, layouts, blueprints, and building plans as per project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, government regulations, development regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop building models, architectural concepts, structure plans, and presentation drawings.
• Understand client requirements and feedback and incorporate revisions into designs.
• Coordinate with builders, civil engineers, structural consultants, electricians, plumbers, contractors, and technicians to ensure proper execution of designs.
• Clearly communicate design requirements, drawings, specifications, and technical details to site teams and contractors.
• Research and recommend appropriate construction materials, finishes, fixtures, and architectural elements based on quality, cost, durability, and design requirements.
• Assist in developing projects while adhering to the approved budget, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure execution is as per approved drawings and designs.
• Identify site-related design issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Prepare design revisions and alterations based on site conditions, client feedback, and project requirements.
• Assist in coordinating architectural drawings with structural, MEP, electrical, plumbing, and other services drawings.
• Prepare project presentations and present design concepts/project briefs to clients and management.
• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, approvals, and project documentation.
• Guide and coordinate with junior design team members and assign tasks as required.
• Support the project team throughout the design-to-construction lifecycle, from concept development to project completion.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.Arch / Diploma in Architecture or equivalent qualification.


• Relevant experience in farm land development, residential projects, high-rise buildings, or real estate construction preferred.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or other architectural design software.


• Understanding of applicable building regulations, approval processes, and construction standards.


• Good knowledge of construction materials and practical site execution.


• Strong coordination and communication skills.


• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.


• Willingness to undertake regular site visits and coordinate closely with project teams.
