Job summary

Smartmart Recruitment Mumbai seeks an experienced Architectural Draftsman to create detailed 2D drawings and layouts in Mumbai. You will develop working drawings from concepts, produce plans for residential and commercial projects, and revise drawings to meet project requirements.

Close coordination with structural, MEP, and engineering teams is essential. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar software is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Architectural Draftsman/Draughtsman preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or other architectural software is an advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, building construction, and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret architectural concepts and convert them into technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and layouts.
• Develop working and construction drawings based on architect's concepts and specifications.
• Prepare detailed drawings for residential, commercial, and other building projects.
• Make revisions and modifications to drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, building codes, and standards.
• Prepare detailed plans for doors, windows, staircases, furniture layouts, and other architectural elements.
• Maintain accurate drawing files, revisions, and documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and site teams.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, material details, and technical documentation when required.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, and constructability.
• Support site teams by resolving drawing-related technical queries.
