Job summary

CIEL HR is seeking a skilled 2D/3D Civil Draftsman to join our design and construction team in Chennai. The role focuses on preparing accurate 2D architectural and construction drawings and developing 3D models to support residential and commercial projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp, with additional familiarity with Revit and rendering tools considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of residential and commercial building planning and construction.
• Basic understanding of spatial planning and functionality.
• Ability to understand and prepare basic electrical and plumbing layouts/diagrams.
• Understanding of architectural drawings, dimensions, levels and construction details.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to coordinate with designers, engineers, clients and site teams.

2D/3D Civil Draftsman

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented 2D/3D Draftsman to join our design and construction team. The candidate should have hands‑on experience in preparing residential and commercial building drawings and a good understanding of construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate 2D architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and views using SketchUp.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, working drawings and detailed drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, electrical and plumbing requirements.
• Assist in developing and refining residential and commercial building designs.

Required Software Skills

• AutoCAD Mandatory
• SketchUp – Mandatory
• Revit – Added advantage
• Basic knowledge of rendering software will be an advantage.
