Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural design, technical documentation, and site coordination.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit and SketchUp is an added advantage.
• Understanding of architectural planning, building regulations, construction practices, and applicable standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to business development, relationship building, and identifying new project opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Design & Documentation: Prepare architectural layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings for various facilities.
• Technical Coordination: Collaborate with structural engineers and other professionals to ensure design coordination.
• Site Visits & Execution Support: Conduct site visits, verify measurements, review conditions, and help resolve design issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with building bye-laws, NBC, and Indian Standards.
• Project Documentation: Maintain drawings, revisions, and project records.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with clients, contractors, vendors, and project teams to coordinate requirements.
• Business Development: Identify prospective clients and contribute to business development through meetings and networking.
• Inter-Office Coordination: Coordinate with Gwalior head office on project assignments and reporting.

Bhargava Building Atelier Pvt. Ltd. (BBAPL) seeks an experienced, motivated Architect to join its team in the Ujjain office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural design, technical drawings, building regulations, and site coordination, along with the communication and business development skills required to engage prospective clients and develop new business opportunities.

The role involves managing architectural assignments, coordinating with internal engineering teams and clients, and working closely with BBAPL’s head office in Gwalior to support project delivery and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design & Documentation: Prepare architectural layouts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed working drawings for residential, commercial, industrial, and other facilities, as required.
• Technical Coordination: Collaborate with structural engineers and other technical professionals to ensure design coordination and project requirements are addressed.
• Site Visits & Execution Support: Conduct site visits, verify measurements, review site conditions, and assist in resolving design-related issues.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure architectural designs comply with applicable building bye-laws, the National Building Code (NBC), and relevant Indian Standards.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) from a recognised institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural design, technical documentation, and site coordination.
• Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD is essential. Familiarity with Revit and SketchUp will be an added advantage.
