Qualifications

Role Description

The Project Architect will lead and coordinate architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring design intent, quality, and technical accuracy. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design solutions, preparing detailed drawings and models, reviewing and managing submittals, and collaborating with consultants, contractors, and internal team members. The role also involves managing schedules and deliverables, participating in client meetings, and ensuring that design and documentation align with applicable codes, standards, and sustainability goals. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata, requiring regular presence in the office and at project sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Architecture and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to develop design, construction documents, and 3D models.
• Experience managing Submittals and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and suppliers throughout the construction process.
• Demonstrated Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation control.
• Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles and sustainable design practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of local building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to projects in Kolkata and India.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accountability for project outcomes.
• Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple projects or deadlines, and adapt to evolving project needs and priorities.
