Job summary

Retrospace Architect in Mumbai seeks an experienced architect to lead design and coordination across architectural and interior projects. You will take ownership of a project from concept through drawing approvals, ensuring alignment with client needs and site realities.

You will work closely with consultants and vendors, review drawings, and manage documentation, revisions, and schedule. A proactive, detail‑oriented professional who thrives on solving on-site challenges will fit well.

Qualifications

• Ownership of project from concept to drawings and approvals.
• Strong understanding of design-drawings-materials-site relationship.
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate architectural and interior design concepts based on project requirements.
• Prepare and review plans, elevations, sections, working drawings, and detailed drawings.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and suitable for site execution.
• Develop design details, material specifications, and finish details.
• Identify and resolve design and execution-related issues at site.
• Coordinate with structural, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other consultants.
• Review shop drawings and contractor drawings and provide necessary comments/approvals.
• Track project progress and coordinate with the team to meet timelines and deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, drawing revisions, and approvals.
• Ensure proper coordination between design, drawings, procurement, and site execution.
