Job summary

DMart is seeking a seasoned Production Support Lead to oversee 6-9 years of experience in production support with leadership responsibilities. You will manage incidents, performance optimization, and RCA initiatives across Java/Golang apps and distributed systems.

You will mentor a team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure service availability. Strong logging, monitoring, and ticketing experience is essential to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced retail tech

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in Application/Production Support with team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of Java or Golang applications for production troubleshooting and issue analysis.
• Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and log analysis tools (Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, Dynatrace).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor production support teams to ensure high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot critical Java/Golang applications in production environments.
• Analyze logs and metrics to identify root causes and drive RCA and preventive measures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for incident management and change releases.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and proactive issue prevention.
• Communicate clearly during critical incidents and ensure accountability for service quality.

• Strong understanding of Java or Golang applications for production troubleshooting and issue analysis.
• Strong expertise in SQ/No-SQL database troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and log analysis tools (Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.).
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing platforms.
• Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Major Incident Management.
• Experience in production deployments, application/component upgrades, performance optimization, and operational improvement initiatives.
  Demonstrated ability to drive RCA, continuous improvement, automation, and proactive issue prevention.
  Strong team leadership, mentoring, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with the ability to lead during critical production incidents.
  Strong sense of ownership and accountability for application availability, stability, and service quality.
