Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide expert technical support and develop automation for enterprise applications in Bengaluru. The role focuses on Unix/Linux, Oracle SQL, Java/J2EE, and API integrations, with hands-on work on AKS and Autosys.

You will split time between development (about 20–30%) and dedicated technical support and troubleshooting (70–80%), contributing to both operations and development of scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Unix/Linux, Oracle SQL, Java/J2EE and API integrations.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Autosys scheduling.
• Experience with Agile processes using JIRA & Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support & issue resolution across applications, database & infrastructure.
• Develop & optimize Unix/Linux shell scripts for operational automation.
• Write & optimize SQL queries; work with Oracle Database 19c.
• Develop & consume REST & SOAP APIs for system integration.
• Build/enhance microservices using Java/J2EE.

• Manage application deployments & monitoring on AKS.
• Handle Autosys scheduling for business-critical jobs.

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Unix/Linux, Oracle SQL, Java/J2EE, API integrations, AKS & Autosys.

The candidate will spend 2030% in development and 70–80% in technical support & troubleshooting of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
