Job summary

PolyWorks India is seeking an Application Specialist to deliver PolyWorks-related technical services across India and to translate your curiosity, resourcefulness and teamwork into practical 3D metrology solutions for customers in manufacturing and design. You will gain deep product knowledge through comprehensive training and hands-on exposure to the full suite of PolyWorks tools.

In this role you will train customers in three-to-four day sessions, provide expert-level support, run tailored

Qualifications

• University degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or similar field.
• Proficient in written and verbal Hindi and English.
• Willingness to travel frequently across India, primarily North India.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and 3D metrology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and expert-level technical support after gaining in-depth understanding of PolyWorks solutions.
• Conduct training sessions (3–4 days) so customers use PolyWorks effectively.
• Perform advanced software demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
• Participate in marketing events such as tradeshows, seminars, webinars, conferences, etc.
• Make strategic visits to clients with technical management and sales.

Responsibilities

• Gain an in-depth understanding of our solutions to offer basic and expert-level technical support to our customers
• Provide our customers with training sessions, which normally last three to four days, to ensure that they efficiently use our solutions in their manufacturing or design processes
• Perform advanced software demonstrations that are adapted to the specific needs of our potential customers
• Participate in our marketing events such as tradeshows, seminars, webinars, conferences, etc.
• Pay strategic visits to clients in collaboration with technical management and sales

Qualifications

• Hold a university degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or a similar field
• Be proficient in written and verbal communication in Hindi and English
• Have at least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience regarding manufacturing processes in industries such as automotive, aeronautics, energy, and in 3D metrology environments, quality control, and production processes
• Be available and willing to travel frequently (this position is primarily home-based and requires frequent travel across the Indian territory, primarily North India)
• Display well-developed interpersonal skills
• Be determined to understand and meet the needs of our customers
• Demonstrate a strong interest for teamwork
• Will be considered an asset: proven experience in CNC CMM programming, familiarity with CAD/CAM software as well as design such as CATIA, NX, Creo, SolidWorks, and Inventor
