Job summary

Akriya Group is hiring a Data Architect in Mumbai to lead end-to-end data platform design and delivery. You will own data warehouse modeling, ELT pipelines, and governance across cloud services, ensuring performance and security.

You should bring hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and modern orchestration with Airflow, along with strong collaboration with product managers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Architect-level experience required.
• Strong SQL or Python data engineering skills.
• Experience in data warehousing / lakehouse modeling.
• Expertise in orchestration and Git-based CI/CD for data workloads.
• Understanding of data quality, testing, observability, and cloud platforms.
• Strong technical leadership, communication, and ownership skills.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design and delivery for engineering squads.
• Design and optimize data models and ELT/streaming pipelines.
• Ensure performance, reliability, data quality, and security.
• Drive code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and automation.
• Mentor engineers and establish technical best practices.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Managers, and cross‑functional teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive preventive actions.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and reusable components.
