Rohde & Schwarz Bengaluru invites an experienced Operations Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications team. You will operate and support applications in Linux and Windows, ensuring production availability, stability, and performance while resolving incidents per SLAs.

The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting across layers, automating recurring tasks with Bash, PowerShell or Python, and supporting containerized workloads with Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of applied experience in enterprise operations.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on Linux/Windows system administration.
• Experience with Kubernetes is beneficial.
• Strong scripting skills (bash, PowerShell, Python).
• Fluent English in an international team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure availability, stability, and performance of production systems
• Monitor applications and platforms; handle incidents and problems according to SLAs
• Perform troubleshooting across application, OS, and platform layers
• Identify and automate recurring operational tasks using scripting and standard tools
• Leverage advanced / AIOps-enabled monitoring features to improve operational efficiency and incident prevention
• Support containerized applications, including Kubernetes operations
• Work closely with the Team Manager, development, infrastructure, and external partners
• Support application-related activities such as deployments, upgrades, and migrations

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
• Qualification in computer science engineering
• Solid hands-on experience in Application Operations
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
• Practical automation and scripting skills (e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Python)
• Basic to intermediate experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads
• Structured, reliable, and solution‑oriented working style
• Ability to work independently in an international team
