Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for operational tasks, with a primary focus on Ansible and the flexibility to use other automation tools where appropriate.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and operations teams to identify manual processes, standardize workflows, and implement scalable, reliable automation.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve automated processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and support stable service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in IT operations, infrastructure automation, or platform engineering roles.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Ansible, including playbook development, roles, inventories, and automation best practices.
- Experience with additional automation, scripting, or orchestration tools such as Python, Bash, Terraform, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix system administration and operational support processes.
- Familiarity with cloud and infrastructure environments, such as Azure, AWS, virtualized platforms, or container platforms.
