Job summary

Weavers Web is seeking a seasoned DevOps/SRE professional in Kolkata to design and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines, automate cloud provisioning with IaC, and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

You will collaborate with development and QA teams to troubleshoot production issues, optimize releases, and enforce secure DevSecOps practices while enjoying a flexible, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration.
• Solid cloud administration experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes management.
• Scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Infrastructure & CI/CD: Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and delivery.
• Cloud Operations: Provision and manage cloud resources (AWS / Azure / GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, pulumi, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
• Containerization: Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestrate workloads via Kubernetes.
• Monitoring & Security: Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic) to optimize performance and prevent downtime.
• Collaboration: Work alongside development and QA teams to troubleshoot production issues, streamline releases, and enforce DevSecOps best practices.

Requirements And Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration role.
• Cloud Expertise: Solid background in cloud administration (AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure).
• IaC & Automation: Strong proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Containers: Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes deployment and management..
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation tasks.
• CI/CD Tools: Deep familiarity with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
