Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, a leading engineering organization in India, seeks a senior mechanical engineer to drive refrigeration circuit design, component sizing, and supplier collaboration. You will ensure designs align with global standards and lead certification efforts across markets.

The role requires DFMEA experience, design reviews, and execution of DVPs, while pushing cost optimizations and robust documentation per the Bosch QMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and component sizing.
• Experience in DFMEA and Design Validation Plans (DVP).
• Familiarity with global standards and product certifications.

Responsibilities

• Handle refrigeration circuit design including sizing and component selection per guidelines.
• Finalize technical specifications and collaborate with suppliers to meet global standards.
• Lead development of components/modules and validate against DVP and standards.
• Manage product certification processes (CE, RoHS, REACH, EMC) for multiple markets.
• Lead design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct DFMEA and prepare DVPs for robust product design.
• Drive cost-saving and performance-improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to Bosch Quality Management System documentation requirements.

Independently handle refrigeration circuit design that encompasses sizing and selection of components, piping & instrumentation diagram, as per design guidelinesFinalize technical specifications and select system components; develop parts in collaboration with local and international suppliers to ensure compliance with global standardsLead the development of components/modules and ensure they are validated against Design Validation Plans (DVP) and relevant standardsManage product certification processes, including CE, RoHS, REACH, EMC, ensuring products meet the safety standards of various target countries (e.g., IEC 60335 standards)Lead design reviews with cross-functional teams (CFT)Conduct DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and DVP preparation to ensure robust product designDrive cost-saving and performance-improvement initiativesIndependently handle tasks with stakeholders and adhere to documentation process as per Bosch Quality Management System
