Job summary

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Electronics Design Engineer with 5–9 years in electrical/electronic design. You will design microcontroller boards, perform requirement engineering, and validate complex circuits for consumer applications.

Proficiency in analog/digital design, power supplies, and interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, USB and Ethernet is essential. CAD tools such as Altium/ORCAD/Mentor Graphics are required.

Qualifications

• BE/B-Tech/ME/MTech (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation).
• Experience designing microcontroller boards and peripheral circuits.
• Requirement engineering and board bring-up responsibilities.
• Analog and digital circuit design, power supply design (Buck/Boost/LDO).
• Experience with SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet interfaces.
• CAD tools: Altium/ORCAD/Mentor Graphics for schematic and PCB layouts.
• Knowledge of BOM preparation, thermal calculations and spice sims.
• EMI/EMC compliant design, layout guidelines, and test docs.

Responsibilities

• Design microcontroller boards and associated circuits for consumer electronics.
• Perform requirement engineering and system-level validation.
• Create layout guidelines, BOM, and thermal calculations; run simulations.
• Board bring-up, testing and troubleshooting with oscilloscopes and data loggers.
• Prepare test plans, test reports and related engineering documentation.

Experience: 5 to 9 years Qualification: BE/B-Tech/ME/MTech (Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation related branches) Experience in designing microcontroller boards and associated peripheral circuits. Requirement Engineering. Experience in analog and digital circuit design, board level power supply design (Buck, Boost, LDO, Linear, Flyback).Experience in actuator and motor control circuit design (BDC, BLDC, stepper). Knowledge in communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, etc. Experience with CAD packages (Altium/ORCAD/Mentor Graphics) for schematic capture and PCB layout design. Knowledge of components selections/design, BOM preparation, thermal calculations, and spice simulations. Experience in EMI/EMC compliant design. Experience in preparing layout guidelines and review. Experience in preparing documents like HDD, test plan, test report etc. Experience in board bring-up, testing and troubleshooting the electronic circuits. Experience in using equipment’s like DSO, signal generator, thermal imager, data logger. Experience in system level testing and validation of electronic products for Consumer application.Added Advantages: Experience in Mentor Graphics, Altium Experience in Electronic product development for consumer application. Knowledge on DRBFM, FMEA ,NOTI, Functional Safety design etc.Additional skill set: Ability to work in a multidisciplinary design team. Ability to interact intensively within technical team.
