Job summary

AAF India Pvt Ltd in Jigani, Karnataka seeks an HVAC cost estimation professional to develop and coordinate detailed cost estimates for filters, AHUs, and related equipment. You will review and refine estimates, interact with Sales, Procurement, Production, and other departments to ensure accuracy and alignment with project scope.

Responsibilities include preparing bid inputs, revising estimates, and providing techno-commercial support for bids and orders while leveraging CAD drawings and CRM

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Experience in Selection and estimation of filters, fan filter units, Air Handling Units (AHUs) or HVAC Projects
• Should be able to prepare detailed costing for different products & equipments.
• Develop multi-discipline concepts, detailed and definitive cost estimates for large equipments.
• Develop cost estimates and coordinate proposals for assigned projects.
• Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined scope of work.
• Interact with multiple departments to review, discuss scope, and estimate basis and consult on company estimating methods/procedures.
• Engineer and coordinate with teammates on company estimating methods and preparation directions.
• Upgrade on changing developments in estimating advances by reviewing technical literature, contact with Sales, visits to production area and attending professional and technical meetings.
• Study and interpret engineering drawing and technical specifications to offer best suitable product.
• Utilize inputs from Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Purchase departments to develop technical proposals. Coordinate bid inputs from all organizational departments.
• Revise estimates and implement necessary changes.
• Evaluate Customer Request for Tender/Bid/Quotation documents. Identify and learn customer requirements for bid purposes.
• To evaluate bids and provide the pricing promptly.
• Managing activities pertaining to negotiations / finalization of deals (techno-commercial) for smooth execution of sales & order processing. Provide technical service support to clients and resolving their pain areas/ concerns.
• Preparation & getting approval on technical submittal from Client & consultant.
• Coordinate with various departments as necessary, like Designing, Procurement, Production, and report to Team Lead in assessing and recording progress.
• Maintain required registers & reports on daily basis.
• Should working in CRM on regular basis to keep the data updated.
• Should be able to create drawings based on offer for client approval.
• Should be do AHU cabinet sizing & costing.
• Should be good in fan selection as per required duty points.
• should have Auto cad experience to make GA Drawings
• Analytical thinking/Problem solving skills, decision making, Convincing skills.
• Experience in HVAC background is required.
