Job summary

Star Automations in Bengaluru is seeking a technically adept service/quoting professional with an electrical, electronics or instrumentation background. You will decide optimal routes from fault histories, prepare quotations, and assess feasibility with the repair bench.

Ideal candidates understand drives, servo systems and PLCs, and can clearly explain options to maintenance and purchasing teams. ITI/diploma/degree holders are welcome.

Qualifications

• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Ability to explain options simply.

Responsibilities:

• Take customer nameplates, alarms and fault history and decide the best route
• Prepare technical quotations and replacement or retrofit proposals
• Work with the repair bench on feasibility before a quote goes out
• Be the technical voice on calls with maintenance and purchase teams

Requirements:

• Electrical, electronics or instrumentation background

Nice to have:

• Pre-sales or technical sales experience
• Knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi or Yaskawa ranges
• Quotation and costing experience
