Job summary

Mimic Infotech Private Limited is seeking a Field Application Engineer in Pune to deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support for industrial automation, machine vision, and instrumentation solutions. You will work with customers, sales teams, and OEM partners to design and implement automation projects.

The role involves demonstrations, system architecture guidance, and on-site installation and troubleshooting, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, Machine Vision, or Control Systems.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and project experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable automation and instrumentation solutions.
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concept activities.
• Provide pre-sales technical support to the sales team.
• Assist customers with product selection, system architecture, and application engineering.
• Perform installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Support machine vision, sensors, safety components, PLCs, DAQ systems, industrial networking, and OPC integration projects.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOMs, application notes, and documentation.
• Coordinate with OEMs and principals for technical support and project execution.
• Conduct customer training sessions and workshops.
• Maintain project reports, service records, and customer feedback.
