Job summary

Star Automations, Bengaluru, is seeking a hands-on field service engineer to troubleshoot servo systems, drives and PLCs at customer plants. You'll travel to sites, perform on-site repairs, and commission repaired units, ensuring minimal downtime.

The role requires practical electrical or automation experience, strong fault-finding and safety awareness, and clear communication with plant maintenance teams. ITI, diploma or degree holders welcomed; multiple work models offered.

Star Automations, Bengaluru (Mahadevapura). Visit customer plants to troubleshoot, repair, retrofit and commission servo systems, drives and PLCs.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot servo, drive and PLC faults on site
• Remove, refit and commission repaired units
• Collect nameplate data and fault history for the repair team
• Write a short service report after each visit

Requirements:

• Hands-on industrial electrical or automation experience
• Ability to travel to customer sites
• Good fault-finding discipline and safety awareness
• Clear communication with plant maintenance teams

Nice to have:

• Two-wheeler for local visits
• Experience with CNC, injection moulding or packaging machines
• Servo, VFD or PLC commissioning experience
