Job summary

Gallagher in India is seeking an experienced Applications and Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise platforms. You will collaborate with infrastructure teams to create holistic solutions and ensure software and databases meet business requirements.

The role requires a university degree and at least seven years of relevant experience, with expertise in integration design, data analysis, and solution architecture.

Qualifications

• University Degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of application and data architecture.
• Experience coaching and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing large projects or processes and/or products and systems with limited oversight from management.
• Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
• Facing IT function related problems that are difficult and moderately complex.

How you'll make an impact

Responsibilities:

Specializes in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of application and data architecture for the firm. Works with infrastructure architects to develop holistic solutions. Creates new or improves existing platforms, and ensures application software and databases are effectively and efficiently designed, produced, tested, and meets business requirements. Has knowledge of stateofthe art programming languages and objectoriented approaches in designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs. Understands programming languages in depth and can apply to designs. LEAD: Recognized subject matter expert in sub-function typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include:
