Job summary

Intelliswift is seeking an Apigee Developer for its Pune/Bangalore offices. The role requires 5 to 10 years of experience and is full-time with work-from-office 5 days a week at Pune/Bangalore locations.

You'll design, implement and manage API platforms using Apigee X, Edge, and API Gateway, handle migrations, and ensure security with JWT, OAuth 2.0 and mTLS, while automating deployments with ArgoCD and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience with Apigee API platforms.
• Proficient in designing and deploying API proxies and policies.
• Hands-on with GCP, Kubernetes, and networking.
• Experience migrating Apigee X to Edge.
• Strong documentation and architectural skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Apigee-based API platforms.
• Develop API proxies and policies (Spike Arrest, Quota, OAuth/JWT, CORS).
• Migrate Apigee from Edge to X and manage migrations.
• Architect and manage GCP infrastructure (VPC, DNS, load balancing).
• Automate deployments with shell scripting and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Ensure API security with JWT, OAuth 2.0, HMAC, and mTLS.
• Collaborate across teams and communicate effectively.

Apigee developer Pune and Bangalore location- WFO-5 days

1. Apigee, Java, Node JS, Apigeelint, API Gateway
2. Design, implement, and manage API platforms using Apigee X, Edge,
3. API Gateway experience
4. Experience in Apigee migration activity - apigee x to apigee edge
5. Good and hands on exp in documentation and create architect level task
6. GCP - Cloud experience
7. Migration activity of Apigee edge to X
8. Develop and maintain API proxies, policies (Spike Arrest, Quota, OAuth/JWT verification, CORS, Message Logging).
9. Excellent communication and Work from office
10. Ensure API security using JWT, OAuth 2.0, HMAC, and mTLS.
11. Architect and manage GCP infrastructure, including VPC design, DNS resolution, load balancing, and private connectivity.
12. Automate deployments using Shell scripting and GitOps (ArgoCD).
13. Implement CI/CD pipelines, progressive delivery, and policy-as-code.

Required Skills:

1. Strong expertise in Apigee X/Edge/Hybrid and API management.
2. Deep knowledge of GCP services, Kubernetes (GKE), and networking (VPC, DNS, routing, load balancing).
3. Proficiency in Shell scripting, GitOps (ArgoCD), and CI/CD automation.
4. Understanding of REST architecture and gRPC protocols.
