Job description

Senior Apigee Developer

Experience 5+ years

Location Pan India

Mandatory skills

• Hands-on experience in API development and management using Apigee Edge and/or Apigee X.
• Strong understanding of API design principles (RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications).
• Proficiency in configuring Apigee policies, target servers, KVMs, and virtual hosts.
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies and tools relevant to API deployment (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Solid experience in API testing, including manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, cURL).
• Demonstrable experience with PowerShell scripting for automation, testing, and operational tasks.
• Familiarity with Java for custom Apigee policies (ServiceCallout, Java Callout) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies including HTTP/S, JSON, XML, OAuth, and API security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Desired skill

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization .
• Experience with monitoring tools for API performance and health (e.g., Splunk, Grafana).
• Apigee certification is a plus.
