Job summary

V2 Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking a QA Engineer to verify application code components and drive quality through Agile practices. You will participate in solution design, perform unit tests with JUnit, and build automated functional tests with Selenium for web interfaces and API endpoints.

The role requires hands-on API testing with Postman, API test automation, and UI testing using Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing test cases, test plans and structured test methodologies.
• Automation or manual testing experience in web and client-server environments.
• Experience in API, Postman testing and API test automation, UI testing with Selenium, Cucumber and BDD.
• Knowledge of accessibility testing (A11Y) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test application code components and follow Agile practices.
• Participate in Solution Design and perform unit testing with JUnit.
• Build functional test scripts and automate using Selenium.
• Debug/resolve defects (Optional) and set up CI/CD with DevOps tooling.
• Provide insights and recommendations from past experience and incorporate feedback per Agile Show and Tell.
• Ensure API test coverage at the API level (target ~90% with JUnit).

Test application code components. Follow Agile practices & US Bank coding/testing policies Participate in Solution Design Perform unit testing using JUnit, build functional test scripts & automate using Selenium Debugging/defect resolution (Optional) Set-up CI/CD environment & implement/use DevOps tools for automated build, test & release Provide insights and recommendations from past experience Feedback incorporation as per Agile principle via Show and Tell Development will meet 90% JUnit test coverage at the API level

Preferred candidate profile

Must-Have Candidate should have knowledge of full system life cycles. Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools are required. Automated or manual testing experience in the web and client server environments. Has experience in writing test cases, test plans, structured test methodology, use cases. Development experience in test scripts, execution and reporting also required. Need experience in API, Postman testing and API Test automation,UI testing using selenium, cucumber framework, BDD framework, Mobile testing using Appium. Good-to-Have Optional Hands on on A11Y (accessibility testing) and Appium knowledge is a PLUS
