Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking an Automation Engineer to strengthen our QA team. You will work on Java‑based test automation, Selenium, and API testing to ensure software quality across client‑server environments.

Candidates should be experienced in writing test cases, test plans, and executing automated and manual tests, with exposure to Postman, CI/CD, and mobile testing using Appium where applicable. This is a full‑time, permanent role at our India campus.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of full system life cycles.
• Knowledge of quality assurance practices and tools.
• Automated or manual testing experience in web and client-server environments.
• Experience in writing test cases, test plans, structured test methodology, and use cases.
• Development experience in test scripts, execution and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test scripts for API and UI testing.
• Execute tests and report results with clear traceability.
• Engage in API, Postman testing and API test automation; UI testing with Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD.
