Job summary

TeamLease is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in Gurugram to lead API/microservices automation, design automation frameworks, and implement in-sprint automation within an Agile environment.

The role requires strong scripting in Java/Python, solid REST/microservices knowledge, and hands-on experience with Selenium and API tools. Collaboration with clients and CI/CD integration will be key areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of strong testing experience.
• Minimum 3+ years in API and microservices test automation.
• Experience in scripting for automation using Java/Python.
• Experience building automation frameworks for API/Web.
• Experience in Agile test delivery with focus on in-sprint automation.
• Solid understanding of RESTful web services and microservice architecture.
• Hands-on API automation with SOAPUI/Rest Assured or other API automation frameworks.
• Strong SQL/database validation skills.
• Advanced Selenium or equivalent tool knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• 3+ years experience in Manual & Automation testing.
• Clear concepts & techniques of testing.
• Experience of JAVA & Selenium.
• Knowledge of JIRA (Preferred).
• Support to client during UAT and Development.
• Coordinating with Client team for Integration testing between application and board.
• Test cases writing, Test Execution and Bug reporting.
• Test Result reporting.
• Work closely with client and get all the details of the workflows defined and the APIS present and build the AUTOMATED scripts accordingly.

Job description

Primary Skill Set:

• Min 5+ years of strong testing experience


• Min 3+ years of experience in Test Automation of APIs and micro services


• Experience in scripting for automation using JAVA/Python


• Experience with building automation framework for API/Web


• Experience in test delivery in an Agile model with focus on in-sprint automation


• Solid understanding of RESTful web services and microservice architecture


• Strong hands-on experience with automation of APIs using SOAPUI/Rest Assured or


• other API automation frameworks


• Strong in validation content from XML, data bases and flat files using script


• Advanced Selenium (or) Any other similar Tool knowledge


• Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation


• Solid understanding of test process: requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting and status reporting to stakeholders for testing services


• Experience working with Jenkins to build CI/CD pipeline

Secondary Skill Set:

• Atlassian tools knowledge – JIRA, Confluence


• Strong with communication (verbal and written)
