Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services in Bengaluru is seeking an automation tester to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for APIs and frontend applications.

You will perform API testing (REST/SOAP/HTTP) with Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools, implement UI automation with Selenium, and contribute to CI/CD integration with the team. Experience with Appium is a plus for mobile automation; you will also document test cases and test results.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for APIs and frontend applications.
• Conduct API testing (REST/SOAP/HTTP) using industry-standard tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or JMeter.
• Implement and execute BDD test frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, Karate) to support behavior-driven development.
• Work on UI automation using Selenium (Appium knowledge is a plus for mobile automation).
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and security testing using best practices and tools.
• Validate backend systems with basic database operations (query execution, data validation).
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure test coverage, quality metrics, and CI/CD integration.
• Work on public and private cloud environments as part of the testing strategy.
• Document test cases, execution results, and provide defect reports with root cause analysis
