Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services in Navi Mumbai seeks a QA Engineer to develop, execute and maintain API test scripts, ensure end-to-end testing, and support CI/CD validations.

The role requires hands-on API testing with Postman, REST Assured and SoapUI, automation framework development, and scripting in Java/Python/JavaScript. You will collaborate with dev and product teams to improve test coverage and data validation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA testing experience across APIs and backend services.
• Strong API testing knowledge with REST/HTTP, JSON/XML.
• Experience in automation framework development and execution.
• Programming/scripting in Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain test scripts for APIs and backend systems using (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI).
• Perform end-to-end API testing including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Develop and maintain automation framework.
• Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases & test data.
• Validate API responses, data integrity, JSON/XML structures, and HTTP protocols.
• Apply AI-driven testing techniques to:
  • Optimize test coverage
  • Enable self-healing scripts
  • Improve defect detection and analysis
• Identify, log and track defects through closure using bug tracking tool (JIRA, etc.).
• Collaborate with development, product and QA teams to understand requirements.
• Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
• Generate and analvze automation execution reports.
• Support release validation and production verification activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience in Software Testing (QA)
• Strong, practical experience in:
  • API Testing using (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)
  • AI-based Testing tools and techniques
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON/XML.
• Hands-on experience in automation framework development/execution
• Basic programming/scripting skills (Java / Python / JavaScript)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SQL/database validation
