Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using Rest Assured and Java
• Automate RESTful API test cases (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)
• Validate API responses, schemas, headers, and status codes
• Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios covering both API and UI (using Selenium)
• Build reusable automation utilities and libraries
• Perform integration, regression, and functional testing
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA to understand requirements
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis
• Maintain test documentation, reports, and dashboards
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
