Job Description

Inviting applications for the role of S2 P Data and Sourcing Management Trainee What will your day-to‑day role involve? Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Data Sourcing & Management:
  • Collecting extracting and consolidating spend data from diverse sources (e.g. - ERP systems purchasing platforms P2 P tools invoice data).
  • Performing rigorous data cleaning validation and transformation to ensure accuracy completeness and consistency for analysis and reporting.
  • Developing and maintaining robust data categorization schemes (e.g. - UNSPSC custom taxonomies) to enable granular analysis.
• Advanced Spend Analysis:
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of spend patterns identifying trends variances and opportunities for cost reduction process efficiency and supplier rationalization.
  • Performing ‘Maverick Spend’ analysis to identify off‑contract purchases and enforce compliance.
  • Analyzing supplier performance contract compliance pricing discrepancies and purchasing channel effectiveness.
  • Developing forecasts and models to predict future spend trends and potential savings.
• Reporting & Visualization Development:
  • Designing developing and maintaining a suite of standard and custom spend reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools.
  • Translating complex data findings into clear concise and visually engaging reports for various stakeholders including procurement finance and executive leadership.
  • Creating compelling data visualizations to highlight key insights trends and recommendations.
  • Ensuring reports are accurate timely and meet the specific needs of internal customers.
• Strategic support & Collaboration:
  • Collaborating closely with procurement teams to provide data‑driven support for sourcing strategies supplier negotiations and category management initiatives.
  • Assisting in the definition tracking and reporting of cost savings initiatives and their financial impact.
  • Partnering with IT to optimize data infrastructure and ensure data accessibility for analytical purposes.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders fostering data literacy and guiding strategic discussions.
• Process Improvement & Governance:
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance data collection analysis methodologies and reporting processes.
  • Developing and documenting best practices for spend data management analysis and reporting.
  • Ensuring data governance and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
