Job Overview

Accounts Payable role responsible for administering, designing and ensuring compliance with accounts payable processes, including verifying invoice charges, verifying receipt of goods and services, confirming purchase approvals, authorizing and processing payments, and reconciling AP ledgers to identify improper charges, validate transactions and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due.

Responsibilities

• Invoice charge verification (including applicable discounts) vs. purchase orders
• Verification that goods and services purchased have been received
• Confirmation of purchase approval
• Payment authorization and processing
• Reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers to identify improper charges, validate transactions, and ensure accurate and timely payment of amounts due

• Executes specialized projects and activities, typically works according to set principles
• Generates and initiates own workload without needing instructions or guidelines
• Might supervise the work of less experienced professionals, providing expertise and taking responsibility for the end-product
