Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy seeks a diligent plant operator to monitor and control process equipment in a chemical facility. You will ensure continuous operation, follow SOPs, and uphold safety standards while recording plant data.

Responsibilities include monitoring parameters, assisting in start-up/shutdown, and coordinating with maintenance teams to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in chemical industry
• Batch process experience

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment such as pumps, compressors, reactors, and pipelines.
• Ensure smooth operation of the chemical plant as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
• Monitor process parameters like temperature, pressure, flow, and level.
• Perform routine checks and maintain records of plant operations in log sheets.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunction or abnormal plant conditions.
• Assist in plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with plant safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for troubleshooting and repairs.
