Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy in Mumbai, Maharashtra is seeking a Plant Operator to operate and monitor chemical plant equipment in batch processes. The role requires 3 to 5 years of chemical industry experience with adherence to SOPs and safety standards.

You will monitor process parameters, maintain log sheets, and assist in start-up and shutdown activities, coordinating with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues. The position is based on-site in Mumbai.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of chemical industry experience.
• Batch processing experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment such as pumps, compressors, reactors, and pipelines.
• Ensure smooth operation of the chemical plant as per SOP.
• Monitor process parameters like temperature, pressure, flow, and level.
• Perform routine checks and maintain records in log sheets.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunction or abnormal plant conditions.
• Assist in plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with plant safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for troubleshooting and repairs.
