Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a skilled plant operator in Lucknow to operate and monitor chemical plant equipment and ensure operations align with SOPs. The role involves tracking process parameters, maintaining logs, and coordinating with maintenance teams for troubleshooting and repairs.

The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience in the chemical industry, with batch process exposure and a strong focus on safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant equipment in chemical batch processes.
• Familiar with SOPs, process parameters, and safety/environmental standards.
• Ability to record and report process data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant equipment such as pumps, compressors, reactors, and pipelines.
• Ensure smooth operation of the chemical plant as per SOP.
• Monitor process parameters like temperature, pressure, flow, and level.
• Perform routine checks and maintain records of plant operations in log sheets.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or abnormal plant conditions.
• Assist in plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling procedures.
• Follow safety guidelines and comply with safety and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for troubleshooting and repairs.
