Job summary

Fynd in Mumbai is hiring for an Android developer to build and maintain stable mobile applications for rider and delivery teams. You will translate product requirements into reliable production features, integrate REST APIs, maps, and offline workflows, and drive performance improvements across the app.

The role emphasizes MVVM, Kotlin, and modern Android tooling, with opportunities to publish updates, work across teams, and learn new libraries as the platform grows.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin, Android SDK, Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
• Experience with MVVM, ViewModel, repositories, and Android lifecycle components.
• Experience building interfaces using Jetpack Compose, XML layouts, fragments, and navigation.
• Good knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, threading, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience integrating REST APIs using JSON, Retrofit, and OkHttp.
• Understanding of location services, Google Maps, push notifications, permissions, and background processing.
• Strong knowledge of Room, WorkManager, offline storage, and data synchronization.
• Experience writing unit and UI tests.
• Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and mobile application design.
• You may not have experience with every Android tool or library in our stack, but you should be able to learn with appropriate guidance and resources.
